Week 1

The lesson started out with an introduction to the brief and what we will be doing in this module.

We then moved on to our first task. A 15 minute activity that sums up the next 6 weeks of work. The first 5 minutes we did some character design. I chose to make a simple stick man design. We then moved onto the next 5 minutes where we made clay figures of our character. Because I made mine simple it was fairly easy to do. With extra time I would of add the clothing details and a spear had to the spear. The final step was to make a turn around. 5 different images which show the character all the way around.

The next task we did was starting work on the brief. We had to pick from four prompts and design a character around it. I chose the independent robot. I already have 36 robots in my fantasy world/story. So I chose one of these to make. Since I haven’t really designed them I thought it would be a great opportunity to design Agatha 036. This Agatha was the last robot made before the lab was abandoned. Their body was never finished so they are the most robot Agatha there is.
